Albert Brooks Friedman passed away suddenly at the age of 83 on December 3, 2024. His was a  life well lived with a maverick spirit. Graduate of DePaul Law School and sworn in on April 14, 1964. Loved the practice of law  for over 60 years. Involved with the Jewish United Appeal and served in the United States Coast Guard. His passions were family, friends, travel, fast cars, running, skiing, golf and opera. Appropriately called "Jolly" by family and friends.

Albert is survived by his best friend, soul mate and beloved wife Marianne Dwyer; loving father to Joseph Friedman, Barney Friedman, and Sarah (Casper) Casparian; grandchildren Phoebe and David; fond brother to Joy Dubner; proud uncle of nieces Beth Noparstak (Jack) Lanners, Claire (Jeff) Newman, and nephew Verne Noparstak (Sun Yun).
