Ann Dice passed away on December 10, 2018 surrounded by her family, who loved her so very much. Ann was born Ann Brice on December 13, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA. She attended Our Lady of Mercy Academy high school, where at 16 she met Denis Dice, who attended Central Catholic high school. Ann received her bachelor's in nursing (BSN) at Mount Mercy College. Ann and Denis married in 1960 upon Denis' graduation from West Point. They shared 57 years of life of unsurpassed and truly rare love as witnessed by their four children throughout their lives. Ann truly loved her nursing career, life as a military wife, her children, and most especially Denis – who preceded her in death in 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. During these years, Ann cared for him unceasingly at home, the ultimate testimony of their unique love.

Ann is survived by her children Julie (George) Cook, Mary (Jim) Grenen, Denis (Beth) Dice, and Kevin (Rosemary) Dice, as well as 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, O'Hara Township, Pittsburgh, PA with Ann's nephew Rev. Dan Walsh, CSSP, as celebrant at 10:00 a.m. on December 15, 2018.
