Anne Foley, nee Connor, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2025. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Foley, and her beloved sister Clare Connor and brother John Connor. Anne is also survived by many loving cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her older brother Tim Connor and her parents, Jack and Winifred Connor. Anne attended the University of Illinois and majored in journalism and dance, then moved to Chicago where she spent her entire adult life. Although she danced with Ruth Page at her School of Dance, with her love for people she gravitated toward a very successful career in Human Resources. Anne was amazingly resilient as she faced serious health issues and never complained other than toward the end, saying she was sad to leave her family and friends and would miss them. Anne will be interred at Graceland Cemetary where her parents and brother are buried.

A memorial reception celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Lincoln Park Zoo or American Cancer Society, in lieu of flowers, would be welcome.
