Anne Victoria Jaskier, nee Kusek, age 99, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Eugene; loving mother to Ronald, Maureen (Tom) Petrunic, and the late Alan; cherished grandmother to Daniel (Kimberly), Carolyn (Howard) Spaeth, Jennifer (Marc) Suwanski, Scott (Megan) Petrunic, Laura, and Jonathan; great-grandmother to Kaitlin, Lauren, Myles, Benjamin, Logan, Jonathan, Lilly, and Lakyn.

Born August 6, 1919 in Middletown, Connecticut to Louis and Sophie Kusek, and was the youngest girl of five children (Frank, Walter, Anthony, and Josephine). The family relocated to Chicago where she spent most of her young life. She married Eugene Jaskier on August 31, 1940 in Chicago, and they later moved their family to Des Plaines, Illinois where they spent over 40 years raising their family. Later in life she resided in Elk Grove Village, Illinois before traveling to spend her final years with her daughter and family in Anchorage, Alaska. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, and kind friend to many.

Visitation Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL. Interment Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, Niles, IL.
