Our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend, Christopher John "Casey" Crook, passed away June 22, 2015 from a short battle with leukemia with his family by his side. Casey was born to John and Karen Crook in Omaha, NE on July 5, 1960. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1978. He married Nancy Bowes in 1979 and later divorced. Together they had one child, Kristin Crook, his pride and joy.

Casey joined the Air Force before eventually settling in Council Bluffs at his much loved lake house, where he loved to boat and entertain his family. He then moved to Chicago in 2005 to help his brother with his business. Casey loved working at KPC Trading where he was vice president and a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He was dedicated to the business. Casey was a generous, kind hearted soul. He always thought of his nieces and nephews and loved to shower them with gifts. Dear sweet Casey, heavy are our hearts, we love you and miss you.

Casey is survived by his daughter, Kristin Crook of Houston, three brothers, Kevin Crook of Chicago and daughter Kylie, Connell Crook and his wife Darla of Salt Lake City and daughters Allison and Karen, Kip Crook and his wife Cathy of Chicago and daughters Stephanie and Olivia, one sister, Kahla (Crook) Atkinson and husband Mike of Colorado Springs and sons Padraic and Connor, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Bill "Denny" of St. Joseph, Uncle Jim of New Brighton, MN, and many cousins.

Casey is preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Karen Crook, Aunt Karla and Uncle Andy Anderson, Uncle Tom, Aunt Mary, Grandma and Grandpa Crook, and Grandma and Grandpa Kochenderfer.
