Catherine "Cathy" O'Gorman, nee Borek, age 56, passed away unexpectedly in her home on March 25, 2022. Beloved wife of Roy for 24 years. A dear and loving mother to her only child Crystal (Jordan), and step-mother to Shannon (Josh), Amber (Stephen), Tracey (Stephen), and Philip (Erica). She loved all of the grandchildren like they were her own; Scotty, Aiden, Isabella, Addison, Liam, Zachary, Gianna, Greenlee, Lucca, Maya, Gauge, and Tyler. She was a devoted daughter to Joanne and the late Jerry, and a fond sister to Paul (Sharon).

Cathy was a die hard Cubs and Bears fan. She loved visiting Wrigley Field, and was rarely seen without wearing her Cubs shirts. She loved spending time outside camping, fishing, kayaking, or hiking. She spent her summers at the race track. She loved watching her daughter and husband race over the years, and more recently her son-in-law. The racetrack brought many good friends that felt like family. She loved traveling, and frequently made trips to Las Vegas where she loved playing slots. Cathy was known to be a very kind and caring person and will be deeply missed.
