Charlene K. Menez (nee Knoerzer), age 88, of Chicago, Illinois and Muncie, Indiana, passed away September 20, 2014. Adoring wife of the late Dr. Joseph Francis Menez, Ph.D. Loving mother of Martin Menez, Michael Menez, and Mary Helen (nee Menez) Kearns (husband Glenn R. Miller). Dear grandmother of Peter Kearns, Ling-Ling Menez and Mike Menez. Fond sister of the late Helen (nee Knoerzer) Doherty and Robert Knoerzer Sr. (wife Patricia Knoerzer). Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Devoted daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor Knoerzer. Charlene was a graduate of St. Philip Neri Catholic School, Aquinas High School and Saint Xavier University in Chicago. An avid traveler, she also enjoyed living abroad with her family in Lima, Peru; Rome, Italy; Zaragoza, Spain; and Zweibrucken, Germany.

Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Holy Name Cathedral Chapel, 30 E. Superior St. Chicago, Illinois.
