Obituary

Edward A. Cuzelis passed away on November 4th. He was 89. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth. Edward was born and raised in Chicago by his parents Leon and Elizabeth Cuzelis with his brother Leo. He served in the United States Navy. He was employed at Ryerson Steel for eight years in a managerial position. He and his family owned and operated a retail business in Chicago for 17 years. He and his brother Leo moved to North Lake Shore Drive and became involved in the usher ministry at Holy Name Cathedral. Edward served in the usher ministry at Holy Name Cathedral for 40 years. His dedication and love for Holy Name Cathedral was immense. He served on the 1150 N. Lake Shore Drive condominium association board of directors in the capacity of president, vice president, treasurer, and director. Edward was married in 1990 to his wife Elizabeth. They were married by the former Mayor and Supreme Court Justice Michael Bilandic. He was employed at J.P. Morgan Chase for 12 years and retired 7 1/2 years ago.

His services were held at Holy Name Cathedral and his interment was at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago. For further information 312-421-0936.
