Elizabeth Ann Peters, age 84, of Chicago, formerly of Geneva, passed away July 12, 2019 at The Clare in Chicago with her family by her side.

She was born September 26, 1934 in Canada, the daughter of John and Ann Kent.

Elizabeth was a nurse for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and going out to lunch with her friends. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children Mark of Florida, Lisa (Ken) Wolfe of California, and Susan (Christopher) Fichter of Chicago; grandchildren Matt, Ian, Sarah, Tyler and Stevie; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick "Fred" Peters who passed away in 2014 and her grandson Gerald

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Michalik Funeral Home, 1056 West Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60642.

Funeral Mass for Elizabeth will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1010 West Webster Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60614 with Father Jeremy Dixon Celebrant.

Interment will be held privately.
