Eva Lira, nee Duran, age 85. Eva died on October 15, 2022, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. Beloved wife of the late Roberto; dear mother of Linda and Gustavo; devoted daughter of the late Alberto and Ana Maria (nee Ruelas) Duran; loving grandmother of Sean, Kaelyn, and Sebastian; fond sister of Alfredo, Esteban, Rosa Maria, Jaime, the late Ruben, the late Uriel, the late Laura, the late Maria Cristina, the late Alberto, the late Jose, the late Nunila, the late Salvador, and the late Ana Maria.

She was such a joy to her family and friends. Her laughter and inspiration touched so many lives. She is sorely missed, by her family, friends, and swimming buddies at the local swimming pool.

Visitation Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Church of the Holy Family, 1080 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608. Funeral Mass Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. at Church of the Holy Family, 1080 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608. Parking is available on Roosevelt Rd., May St., and in the Roosevelt/Racine parking lot.
