Fr. Edward Jaskula, C.R.

Rev. Edward Jaskula passed away on August 13, 2026, at Nazarethville Nursing Home, at the age of 97. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, he dedicated 71 years to his vocation as a priest.

Throughout his priesthood, he taught Math and French at Gordon Tech High School, leaving a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.

He is predeceased by his parents, his brother John, and John's wife, Helen. He is survived by his brother Henry and several nephews in Canada.

A Wake will be held at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Chapel, located in the former Gordon Tech High School at 3601 N. California Avenue, Chicago. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in the Resurrection Plot.
