Frederick C. Flosi, 89 years old, passed away at his home in Chicago with his family at his bedside. Fred was born and raised in Chicago, the beloved only child of his parents Fred and Irene Flosi.

After graduating from Loyola High School, Fred studied history at Northwestern University. He went on to complete his MBA at Columbia University in New York City. Fred's heart, though, was never far from Chicago. He soon returned and remained there for the rest of his life.

It was in Chicago where Fred met the love of his life, Sarah Flosi (aka Sally). Fred and Sarah loved each other every day and had a marriage full of adventure, service to others, and laughter.

Fred worked downtown as an investor. He is survived by his children, Ben and Anne, and his granddaughters Alani, Stella, and Simone who will all remember him as a kind, loving, humble, generous, and very funny man. Fred truly lived as though each day was a gift.

He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephew, Lindsay, Sarah, and John, with whom he spent many holidays and celebrations over the years.

Fred treasured his friendships, some of which were formed in grade school. He was a man of strong faith, and a valued part of the faith community at St. Clement Church. Fred was a man who loved and was loved by many people. When we think of his laughter and sweet smile, our hearts will be warmed by his memory.

Family and friends will meet on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Saint Clement Church, 642 West Deming Place, Chicago, Illinois 60614 for an 11:00 a.m. Visitation followed by a 12:00 p.m. Funeral Mass.
