Irene V. Jamroz, nee Dziki, age 97. Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Jamroz; dear mother of Lynn Jamroz and Paul (Theresa) Jamroz; loving grandmother of Juliann Jamroz; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and the late Emily (nee Wrezel) Dziki; fond sister of Rosemary Bojarski, the late Emily Crea, the late Lorraine Boudreau, the late Julian Dziki, and the late Bernadette Stone; aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Irene grew up in the Cragin area of Chicago. She worked at the White Cap Company in her 20's, where she met her husband. They married Thanksgiving Day in 1947. A few years later, they moved to Franklin Park, where she resided until her death. She was a stay-at-home mother until her children were in school full time. She then started working at East Leyden High School as a cashier in the teacher's cafeteria. She worked there for over 30 years, retiring as the oldest employee at that time. She enjoyed traveling, homemaking, sewing, going to the movies, and family get-togethers. She will be sincerely missed by her loved-ones and all those who knew her.

Visitation Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 9613 Schiller Blvd., Franklin Park, IL 60131. Interment at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles, IL.
