Joanne Priscilla Lajewski, nee Moskal, age 91, passed away on May 15, 2021 with her family at her side. Joanne worked hard all of her life, she helped her widowed mother by working at the age of 15, got married and cared for her five children, and worked into her 70's at her local Jewel store. Joanne loved life and people. She was kind and generous to everyone she met. She loved music, dancing, playing games, laughing and "having a good time."

Joanne is preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Sr.; son Lawrence Jr.; granddaughters Lisa Quirk and Jordan Lajewski. She is survived by her children Joe (Brenda) Lajewski, Karen (Paul) Quirk, Robert (Camille) Lajewski and James (Jennifer) Lajewski. She loved to spoil her grandchildren which include Joseph Lajewski, Mark Quirk, Laura Quirk, Maria Lajewski, Lawrence (Sophie) Lajewski, Peter Lajewski, Michael Lajewski, and Meghan Lajewski. She loved to spend time with her great-grandchildren Augustine, Jude, Clementine and Bernadette Lajewski. She will be missed by her sister Marilyn Moskal, her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Michalik Funeral Home, 1056 West Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60642. Funeral Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St John Cantius Church, 825 North Carpenter Street, Chicago, Illinois for a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.
