Joel Murray passed away on October 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, Ca.  He is survived by his wife, Suzane, nee Klemper, daughter, Lisa; stepchildren, Eliegey and Barkley; and brother, Marvin (Sandra). Mr. Murray was a prominent criminal defense and trial lawyer in Chicago in the 1960s and 1970s and represented defendants in many high profile state and federal criminal cases.  He served in the 1980s as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Simmons Airlines.  Visitation Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m., at Michalik Funeral Home, 1056 W.
