John Gawlick, beloved husband of Katie nee O'Connor for 44 years; dear father of Amy and Michael (Erin); adoring grandfather of Mary and Victor; devoted son of the late Minnie and John; son-in-law of Margaret and Jack O'Connor; fond brother of Holly Hogarty. His humor was cherished by his sixteen brothers and sisters-in-law and much appreciated by his 49 nieces and nephews. He had an "Amazing" fun-loving way with his grandchildren, and an "Awesome" gratitude for his children, and an "Absolute" undeniable love for Katie.

Visitation Friday, June 19, 2015 at 12 noon at St. John Berchman, 2517 West Logan Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois 60647 until the time of the Memorial Mass at 1 p.m.
