Jose Mercado, age 76, dear brother of Jesus (Maria), Angel (Arco), Agustin (Estrella), Monserate, Luis (Nellie), and Iris Gonzalez; fond uncle of Jesus M., Martin (Katie), Maria (the late Pedro), and the late Antonio (Cindy); great uncle of Jorge, Javier (Melissa), Antoine Jesus, James Michael, Voltaire Antonio, Madalaina Fe, Rosali, and Vanessa, also survived by great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation Friday 5 to 9 p.m. at Michalik Funeral Home, 1056 W. Chicago Ave., Funeral Saturday 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mark Church, 1048 N. Campbell Ave., Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St., Alsip, Illinois 60482. For further information 312-421-0936.
