Joseph D. Mordente, age 86. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary, nee Tarsitano; dear father of Joseph (Sally), Peter, and John (Susan); loving grandfather of Gabriel and Charlie.
Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook. Funeral Saturday 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Our Lady of Peace Church, 701 Plainfield Rd., Darien for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
Joseph was a member of the 13th Company Airborne Ranger, Veteran of Korean War, and member of VFW Post 5422.
