Justin Se Geun Lim, age 19, passed away on May 17, 2022. He was born and raised in Chicago, where he loved spending time with his older brother, Jake, and playing tennis with friends. He enjoyed watching professional tennis, especially matches with Roger Federer. Justin had a passion for helping others and possessed unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He could light up a room with his smile and enthusiasm.

Justin graduated from the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in 2021, and he entered Princeton University as a member of the class of 2025. He had planned to study Operations Research and Financial Engineering and hoped to enter the world of finance.

Justin is survived by his mother, Peggy; father, Yung Bong; and older brother, Jake.

Visitation Service , Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Willow Chicago, 1347 South State Street, Chicago, Illinois 60605. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a Service starting at 6:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the Service until 8:00 p.m.

Memorial Service , Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Gordon Parks Arts Hall, 5815 South Kimbark Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60637. A reception will immediately follow the Service until 8:00 p.m. A Livestream of the Memorial Service will be available at www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yjqaktuWF0 .
