Kathleen Sybil Lindsay's Obituary
Kathleen Lindsay, nee Clausen, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 25, 2017. Wife of the late E.A. Pete Lindsay; mother of Kara (Tony) Ranallo, Katie (Geoff) Surkamer, Elisabeth (Becca) Lindsay-Ryan, Suzanne (John) Lyhus and Doug Lindsay; grandmother to 14 beautiful grandchildren; sister of Mike and Dan Clausen.
Kathleen will be dearly missed. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Spending time with them gave her great joy. Outside of family and friends, she worked tirelessly to bring awareness to Ovarian and Breast Cancer through her work with Bears Care. Another passion of Kathleen's was the business she built with her husband and she considered those that she worked with an extension of her family.
Visitation Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 9 a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State St., Chicago, IL 60610. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to Bears Care for Breast and Ovarian Cancer, 1920 Football Drive, Lake Forest, IL 60045, www.chicagobears.com/community/bears-care.html .
