Leslie L. Shwartz, a beloved jewelry appraiser, died peacefully at home on October 30, 2025. Born in 1947 in New Jersey, he was the adored son of the late Rabbi Henry L. and Ibi Shwartz. Leslie is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 39 years, Roberta S. Shwartz, along with numerous cousins and many friends.

Leslie was a respected jewelry appraiser in downtown Chicago for 30 years, known for his integrity and compassion. He was also a violinist with an extensive knowledge of classical music, performing in amateur orchestras throughout the Chicago area. He will be fondly remembered for his passionate love of music, wonderful sense of humor, and generosity.
