We are saddened to announce the passing of Louis P. "Louie" Tomaso, age 71, of Chicago. Louie was the cherished father of Christina (Tad Kolke); adored grandfather of TJ Kolke; devoted son of the late Louis and Mary (nee Catalano); beloved brother of Donna (Sam) Ortegon and Sharon (the late Frank) Piersanti; dear friend and former husband to Carmella (John) Segvich; fond "Uncle Louie" to several nieces and nephews; and friend to many.

Louie, a retired barber and outgoing people-person, enjoyed many years as the owner of Louie's Barber Shop first in Algonquin, Illinois and then Woodstock, Illinois. Louie loved history – especially Chicago history – and metal detecting through the city's historic parks. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, often entertaining everyone with karaoke, jokes, and stories.

Family and friends will meet Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 2330 West Sunnyside Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625 for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment private.
