Born on July 4th, 1947, fireworks illuminating a brilliant sky, Paula grew to become a shining indomitable force: loving, compassionate, generous. A teacher, a great artist, her medium was actually life itself. My loving wife of 50 years, mother to Cara whom she adored, she swept us up in her intense passionate embrace. Not just the presence in the room, but "presence" itself, she electrified all that came into her orbit. Her energy, her laughter, her quick wit cannot be forgotten. Her joy of life sustains us forever.

Her works of art, drawings, prints, sculpture, reveal her keen perception of the human spirit. They speak directly to us as life itself.

Following a tragic fall, Paula passed away on the morning of December 12, 2021 as her husband and daughter embraced her.

Family and friends will meet Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at St. Michael Church, 1633 N. Cleveland St., Chicago, IL 60614 for a 10:00 a.m. Visitation followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. In compliance with local COVID-19 guidelines, face masks are required.
