Pedro Gafare, age 51, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Born March 20, 1969, in El Paso, Texas, he was the son of Roberto Gafare and Agustina Cabello Gafare. He is survived by his daughter Nicole and his siblings Rosie, Lupe, Bertha, Adolfo, Roberto, and Carmen.

He was an Elite United States Marine who served at the Persian Gulf and in PANAMA. After his time in the military, Pedro went on to work at the Chicago Transit Authority. He enjoyed exploring the city, wearing hats, traveling, and attending gatherings with friends and family.

A traditional Funeral Ceremony and Burial, in his family plot at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, will both take place in El Paso, Texas.
