Robert E. Gowrylow, age 74, of Chicago, IL, passed away August 29, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brothers, Leroy Gowrylow and Anthony Mazenis; sister Mary and her husband James Staros, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a life-long resident of Chicago, retired from Sears Roebuck Company, Minister of Care of local nursing homes, and an usher at Holy Name Cathedral for 38 years.

Visitation Wednesday August 31, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Holy Name Cathedral Chapel, 30 E Superior Street, Chicago, IL. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Name Cathedral. Interment, Thursday, September 1, 11 am at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 North Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60660.
