Roberto Lira, age 86. Roberto passed away on October 15, 2022 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. Beloved husband of the late Eva; dear father of Linda and Gustavo; devoted son of the late Luis and Concepcion (nee Orta) Lira; loving grandfather of Sean, Kaelyn, and Sebastian; fond brother of Beatriz, Luis, Samuel, Martha, Edilberto, Enrique, Jose, and the late Sergio.

Roberto was a kind man who was a father figure to so many. He grew beautiful flowers and vegetables in his yard like he did on his farm in Mexico. He is sorely missed and will be remembered.

Visitation Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Church of the Holy Family, 1080 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608. Funeral Mass Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. at Church of the Holy Family, 1080 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608. Parking is available on Roosevelt Rd., May St., and in the Roosevelt/Racine parking lot.
