Sophie Magiera, beloved wife of the late Walter Magiera Sr., dear mother of Lorraine Compton, Walter (Linda) Magiera Jr., and Kathy (Dan) Husak, loving grandmother of Anthony and Stephen Compton, Walter (Nancy) and Dan Magiera, Lisa Dodge, Ed (Christa) Arquilla, Zachary, Ethan and Jonathan Husak and the late Lori (Eric) Andersen, great-grandmother of Breanna and Madelyne, Jacob and Matthew, Anthony, Isabelle and Gianna Lori Ann.
Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m., from the funeral home, to St. Zachary Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. For info: 847-966-7302.
