Thomas Edward Millstead, age 91, passed away February 28, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He was predeceased by his wife Judith M. (nee Kresl) Millstead.

He worked in Public Relations for CNA Insurance Co. for 23 years. He previously worked at the Racine Journal-Times for 15 years as a copy editor, entertainment editor, and assistant telegraph editor. He was also a book author and free-lance fiction and article writer. He has published numerous short detective stories, non-fiction magazine articles, a Western novel, and a series on the Vietnam war.
