Vincent R. Daley, Jr.'s Obituary
Vincent R. Daley, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home in Chicago after a 5 year battle with prostate cancer. Born June 21, 1940, Vince was a great conversationalist, he had strong convictions, a witty sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and was an incredible friend, father, and husband. He was a lifelong Chicagoan and a proud graduate of St. Gertude's, Loyola Academy, Lincoln College, and Loyola University.
Vince met the love of his life Vi 55 years ago and quickly asked her to marry him. Together they traveled the world, and had two daughters who were the light of his life. Vince loved working in real estate, and enjoyed talking about politics, the Bears, and anything Chicago.
Vince is survived in life by his wife Vi; daughters Kathy (Eric) Craig and Colleen (Andy Kucharski) Daley; sister Carole Anne (Chris Dombrowski) Daley; brothers Thomas Daley and William (Chris) Daley.
Family and friends will meet to honor Vince's life on Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. Michael's Church, 1633 North Cleveland Street, Chicago, Illinois 60614 for a 9:30 a.m. Visitation followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
