Virginia "Ginny" Hourigan. A graduate of Trinity College in Vermont, she lived and worked in Washington DC for a short time. She then worked with United Airlines in Seattle; and Galileo/Cendant in Chicago until her retirement. After her retirement, she volunteered for many civic and charitable organizations in Chicago. She traveled extensively around the world and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Montville of Maine, Peggy McLoughlin of Rhode Island, and her brother Jack Hourigan, Jr. of South Carolina as well as 14 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children. She was predeceased by her sister Christine McPherson and nephew Patrick McPherson.

Funeral Mass Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral Chapel, 30 E. Superior, Chicago, Illinois.

Interment Rhode Island.
