Walter "Bud" Marcom. Born in Chicago, passed away at 91, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and distinction. A commercial artist by trade, Bud began his career in the 1950s as a product packaging designer before becoming an expert in type design, hand lettering, and logo creation, always bringing a unique touch to his work.

He never retired, finding joy in every project, along with a love for Winston cigarettes, rich butter, and British sports cars. Bud's quick wit and effortless charm made him a memorable presence in every room.

He is survived by his children Quinn (Tana), Heather, and Zak; niece Jane Olsen; granddogs Tug, Bo, and George; grandcat Pooty.

A private gathering will honor Bud's life, celebrating the humor, warmth, and artistry he brought to the world.
