Beloved husband of Ellen, nee O'Rourke; dear father of Beth (Peter) Vlerick, Billy (Leslie), and Jane (Brock) Reimer; loving grandpa of Charles, Ellen, Peter O, Walter, James, William, and Owen; devoted son of the late William Sr. and Marian Middendorf; fond brother of Marian Sue, Barbara (Fred) Prince, Michael, Margaret Libecap, Joan, the late Mary Patricia, Nancy (Paul) Erhart, Anne Bologna, Timothy (Nancy), Julia, and John (Lisa).

Visitation Friday, February 18, 2022 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. followed by 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at Church of the Holy Family, 1080 W. Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL 60608. Parking is available on Roosevelt Road, May Street, and in the Roosevelt/Racine parking lot.
