Obituary

William A. Tolkacz died on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. He was 75 years old. Mr. Tolkacz was born in New York City. He moved to Chicago in 1952 and has resided there ever since. He was an interior designer and was self-employed for many years. Later in his career, he worked for Marshall Field & Co. in Chicago. He retired in 2005. He was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. He was a parishioner of Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago and enjoyed visiting his family in New Jersey for two months out of the year.

He is survived by his sister, Vivian Neary of Monroe Twp., his niece, Elizabeth Falkowski and her husband Michael of Monroe Twp., his nephew, Brennan Neary of Verona, two great nieces, two great nephews, and many other extended family members.

Visitation will be 5-8:00pm on Friday, October 16, 2015, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ, 08831, (732) 521-0555 - www.demarcofuneralhome.com . Funeral services will begin at 8:45 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30 AM at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by committal and cremation at Holy Cross Burial Park Crematory, South Brunswick.
